Malcolm Campbell and his son Donald established a family tradition of speed. They dedicated their lives to motion – fast motion - and they both held world land and water speed records at various times from the 1920’s to the 1960’s. The machines they developed, both cars and boats, were cutting edge and were of significant assistance in advancing many of the associated technologies of the day.
In this talk, Dick Whitaker takes a look at the story of the Campbells and reviews some of the fantastic machines they helped develop and risked their lives to drive.
